"Kiwanis" means "we trade" or "we share our talents." Kiwanis and its Service Leadership Programs boast a membership of more than 600,000 men, women, and youth in nearly 16,000 clubs in more than 70 countries and geographic areas. Kiwanians are changing the world through service to children and communities.

Outer Banks Kiwanis Club’s community service projects focus on the health and education of children in Dare County. We raise funds to provide college scholarships for local students, and for research to accelerate the cures for cancer in children.

The club co-hosts the Nags Head Woods 5K Run with the North Banks Rotary Club every second Saturday in May. For results of our 2009 race, Click Here.
